Jag upptäckte precis mitt första spel som använder sig av batteri (CR2032) och det vore kanske på sin plats att skapa en lista över de spel som använder sig av samma typ av batteri. Med tanke på att dessa inte håller i all evighet och antagligen kommer behövas bytas ut inom en tioårsperiod (de har då levt i 20 år) kan man se ovanstående lista som en varningsklocka.

Sonic 3 och Wonder boy in Monster World är det spel som har sparfunktion men ändå inget batteri (inbyggd sparfunktion)?

Ja, precis.

Wonderboy har *en* saveslot om jag inte minns fel. Det är upp till spelaren att hålla reda på att man inte ska välja New game och spara över sitt save...

Så formulera om din text där det står "med inbyggt batteri", eftersom dessa två är helt batterilösa. Sonic 3 använder en sorts flashminneskrets som heter FeRAM, och jag tänkte inte på att kolla, men jag misstänker att Wonder Boy kör med en liknande krets.

Gött att redan ha fått ihop en lista med några spel. Och ännu skönare att det endast är ett av spelen som jag äger och således kommer behöva byta batteri på

"Rechargable" tyckte jag lät väldigt trevligt. Gäller bara att man släpar fram de där spelen för en ordentligt spelomgång/omladdning då och då - OM de ens laddar när man spelar, såklart...

Något som är lite jobbigt med batteribyte, är att batterierna sitter rätt ordentligt fast; inte fastlödda, utan någon annan form av "punktfästning". Att löda mot ett batteri är något man ska vara väldigt försiktig med. Bättre att komma på någon form av klämfunktion som dels gör att det är lätt att byta nästa gång, men batteriet måste sitta ordentligt fast.

Den här metoden har jag använt på alla mina egna NES-spel och den fungerar bra:



På de NES-spel jag har sålt har jag plockat bort originalbatteriet och hållaren och lött på ett liknande batteri med hållare som jag köpt i paket från Kina. Egentligen en ännu smidigare lösning en den i klippet ovan.

Det funkar bra och det gör det lättare när man själv ska byta batteri nästa gång. Problemet är dock att den är egentligen för tjock för en NES-kassett. Hur den funkar på en MD-kassett vet jag inte. Däremot går det att komma ifrån det problemet, men lösningen blir hyfsat tattig.

FRAM sorteras som "spel med flashminneskrets/inbyggd sparfunktion". Vad gäller för EEPROM? Övriga titlar antar jag har batteri, men det är synd att det inte står med vilken typ som används. Det hade underlättat mitt arbete.

Iom att det finns bildbevis och att jag har svårt att se att (framförallt) EA använde sig av fler än en lösning till ett och samma spel flyttar jag på spelet. Samtidigt funderar jag på hur många fler av EA:s spel som ligger fel i listan ovan.
